Privacy Policy

Draft — to be reviewed by legal counsel before publication. Last updated October 2026.

1. Who we are

Sophia Investment Trust ("the Firm", "we") is a family office providing investment management, private credit and wealth structuring services. Contact: info@sophiatrust.com.

2. What we collect

When you apply to become a client we collect the information required by know-your-customer (KYC), anti-money-laundering, FATCA and CRS obligations: identity and contact details, identification documents, tax identification numbers, employment and financial information, source of funds and wealth, regulatory declarations and the supporting documents you upload.

3. Why we process it

  • To assess and open your relationship with the Firm and comply with legal obligations (customer due diligence, sanctions screening, tax reporting).
  • To communicate with you about your application and, where you have consented, about the Firm's services.
  • To keep records required by applicable law and regulation.

4. How we protect it

Identifiers and documents are encrypted at rest with keys held outside the web server's public area; access is limited to authorised compliance staff using two-factor authentication, and every access is logged. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share it with regulators and authorities where required by law, with professional advisers bound by confidentiality, and with service providers acting on our instructions.

6. Retention

Application records are kept for as long as required by applicable anti-money-laundering rules (typically five to ten years after the end of the relationship or the decision on the application) and then securely deleted.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Write to info@sophiatrust.com to exercise these rights.
